Question/comment: Ladies,
I am not sure if this is where I post Thank you's. But I just received a huge box of Easter goodies for the Marines in my Company. The Peeps were a huge hit with them. I can't say enough Thank You's for thinking of us. I can guarentee that it was the highlight to many of my younger Marines. It was good timely due to some events that had previously taken place. It brightened up many of them. Again Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Respectfully Submitted,

Hello Ms. Russell and CoAstal Carolina Chapter,++++++++++++++++++++Doug Lof D- your mom totally ROCKS!!!! Please thank her on behalf of everyone at IJC for the awesome care package. It was probably the biggest box anyone has received since I've been here. We were kind of wondering what to do with the golf balls, thoughRicky Ervin Thank You so much for the box. I really appreciate it!*******************Hi Everyone,I thought I'd share the nice thank you note we received from LCpl Cory Szucs' mother. He is the wounded Marine recovering at Walter Reed, to whom we asked you all to send get well wishes. We also sent him a Hero Box. Here is what his mom wrote back: "I am the mother of LCpl Cory Szucs. I stay here with him. I want to thank everyone for the goody box. He will enjoy it so much its everything he needs and likes. He is in Breckenridge on a ski trip with about 50 wounded guys and gals. This trip is part of occupational therapy. He will be gone until Dec. 12. Cory and I live in Ohio. We are going home for a couple of days to see the rest of the family. Thank you for all your prayers. They are working. Cory walks on a prosthetic leg and doing great. It is amazing to watch all these guys and gals and to see their progress and how fast their progress has been. Again, thank you all for the goody box and prayers. Sincerely, God Bless. Debby Szucs" Let's keep those cards going to him... LCPL Cory Szucs Malogne House Building 20, Room 445 6900 Georgia Ave. N.W. Washington, DC 20307
Woodrow Walkup thank yaw for the package we all enjoyed the snacks at work :) My Grandson, Josh Smith, did receive his Easter Basket and asked me to Thank you all for remembering him. He was so excited. They are phasing him out of Iraq so I was afraid that he may not be found to receive it. He will be coming home for 30 days in May but will return to Germany and then probably to Afghanistan. Please keep him in your prayers. Joyce Fields ____________________________ ![]() |

Dear Mrs. Dion,
I want to personally thank you for the wonderful support you provided the Soldiers of 3-7 Infantry upon their return from Iraq. The memorial gift bags, in honor of their fallen comrade, SSG Ronald Phillips, meant a great deal to these returning warriors. The support both you and your group provide our Soldiers and Family Members is invaluable...we could not do what we do without it.
I am aware you know first hand the sacrifices Army Families make, especially around the Holidays. Thank you very much for sharing your time with us and for taking care of our Dog Face Soldiers... I wish you and yours the best for 2009! ROCK OF THE MARNE!
Warmest Regards,
Anthony A. Cucolo, lll
